Healing the ills of all

Reflection
March 28, 2011

Jesus is the cure to all our health problems. Nothing is impossible with Him. He came for the sick, so that they may all be healed. He restores us to be like new. Sickness comes when one chooses to reject the Lord.

AHEAD OF TIME

My Reading, Reflection and Prayer
March 23, 2011

"Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem;
and the Son of man will be delivered
to the chief priests and scribes,
and they will condemn him to death,
and deliver him to the Gentiles
to be mocked and scourged and crucified,
and he will be raised on the third day."
Matthew 20:18-19

Before it happened, Jesus already foretold His disciples of the series of events that will transpire. Though it may still be a prophecy at that time, the manner in which He spoke is absolute and certain of what is to take place.

The Lord already knows what lies ahead of us. Nothing can caught Him by surprise for He sees our future. A future that God alone had made which He can change anytime depending on how we look upon Him and how we conduct our lives in accordance to His will and purpose.

Heavenly Father, you alone can shape my destiny in life through your son, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In Him, I live my faith and trust in you, knowing and believing that nothing is impossible if you so will. Thank you so much for your continuing graces and blessings that is now being poured over my lap in order for me to build the necessary financial resources for the attainment of all my dreams and aspirations. All these things belong to you my God who is truly faithful in all His promises. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

GOD SPEAKS

March 24, 2011:
  • "I the LORD search the mind and try the heart, to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings" (Jeremiah 17:10).
  • "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

March 26, 2011:
  • "At the beginning I foretell the outcome; in advance, things not yet done. I say that my plan shall stand, I accomplish my every purpose" (Isaiah 46:10).

I AM NOT WORTHY

In spite of being a miserable sinner, God still chose to speak to me today.

Yesterday, as I was creating a new blog titled "Christ in Men", I was moved to place in its prayer the words taken from Matthew 8:8, "Lord I am not worthy to receive you...".

Today, He confirmed such words that He indeed spoke to my heart.

In the reflection of St. Peter Eynard, he says, "Of us God demands purity of heart, that purity which is the life of the soul. He wants besides, since we possess no virtues worthy of Him, a deep respect and true humility. Let us say to Him: ' Lord I am not worthy to receive Thee. Depart from me, for I am a miserable sinner!' This conviction makes up for our shortcomings. Our Lord is content with it and, when he comes to us, He will give us all that we lack. Let us simply be faithful, humble, and confident. He will do the rest."

God, out of His great, goodness and mercy will never stop to bless all my rightful endeavors. My sins can never match such love that the Lord has for me. It is not about me, what I say or do but it is all about Him and His purpose of creating me.

I can never be worthy of my God but I can always cling to the Lord Jesus Christ who has always been the Savior of my life to intercede on my behalf. He alone can make me pure and perfect to face my God.

Lord, I am not worthy to receive You, but just say the word, and I shall be healed!
